I have a Haywood pump and a booster pump. I see there are some timers for 220 volts and others for less volts. Do I just get one based on voltage or what other things do I consider? Any input appreciated! Thanks.

Voltage and current, typically enough for a 3 HP. Scott

I have an Intermatic P1353ME. It can control 3 things. I have a 2sp pump and a booster pump. I have the timer set for pump low speed only right now so it automatically runs 12 hrs a day. I only use high speed for backwashing or cleaning the pool so I just turn it on manually. There are 3 buttons for manual on/off so this is easy to do, just open the cover and push a button. It does have a feature that when you push the button for the booster, it automatically turns the high speed on for a minute, then the booster pump will come on. You can have up to 3 timed "events" for each switch

bpricedo, Does it do 240VAC? Scott
|
Yes. My 2hp Whisperflo is 240 (actually reads 230VAC on pump).

Scott, I took a couple of pictures of the timer. It is getting dark here so kinda low light but I think you can see well enough. Here it is next to the Pool Pilot so you can tell the size of it. Here is the control panel.

Scott, thanks for the pictures!
