Jandy Salt cell leaking at prongs

My salt cell is leaking at the prongs. I can see air bubbles and the plug is constantly wet inside. My service tech tells me this is normal even on new cells. However, the pool is now three years old and it has not leaked in the past? Chlorine production is down but service tech tells me I need to add stabilizer. It has been rainy but i have it set at 65. Any thoughts on whether this is normal or not? Thanks!

I would doubt a leak around an electronic plug could ever be considered "normal". I think there are o rings around the plugs that may be damaged. Stabilizer does have to be maintained, and rain does have an effect. Get your water tested.

    Thanks! I'll check the o-rings.
