We are going to have our pool redone and have received a number of quotes. We live in North County Inland San Diego. I have some questions on the various options and want to see if anyone has expereience in this area.

1. 2 companies want to chip away the old plaster and one wants to plaster over it. The pool is probably 20 or so years old and has never been redone. Any opinions?

2. For finishes we are looking at the following products:

Wet Edge Altima Premium Pool Finish

Ultra-Poz Premium Finish

ColorScapes Quartz

We aren't looking at a dark bottoom pool so it would probably be white with blue specs throughout.

My wife teaches swimming so we don't want anything rough or that will get too rough quickly.

If you have any experience with these products positive or negative please let me know!
