Anyone know where I can buy the brass anchors that are installed in a concrete deck for the winter cover. Opener stripped out the anchor, I think they are 5/8-11 thread.

jccams,
Might try contacting the cover manufacturer online for replacements.

Many pool store carry them. When the insert has a stripped hex head, it usually means the anchor is shot and needs replacing. Let me know if you have issues with acquiring them.

Scott,

That is the issue. Idiots that opened the pool seemed to think they needed to be torqued to 50 ft lbs when they ran them down. The anchor in the concrete seems fine and I was able to salvage most of them. The two pool stores I have been to do not have them.

What make is the cover? Different manufacturers use different anchors even though they all use a 1/4" Allen to raise them, except Anchor brand, which uses a 3/16" Allen key.

I believe it is a Loc-solid
