| Does anyone know if I can tap tap onto the bonding/grounding clips on my pool pumps to ground a gas powered generator? Hurricane Irene coming and may need to run generator for sump pump in basement. |

| Bond is not ground. Right outside the meter to your house should be your ground rod. If you need an extension, I suggest booster cables for jump starting a car. Scott |
