Pool Design - didn't have landscaping and all the pretty items on final drawing but this gives an idea of the concept.

Photo of pool layout after staking. The mulch to the right is where the kid's playset previously resided (before I moved to other side of yard).

Was supposed to start digging today (Aug 28th) but still waiting on HOA approval. Fingers crossed for dig next week.

Looks great, can't wait to see progress! Looks like you have a lovely yard to put it in too.

We had to wait a month for our HOA approval.
    Good luck!

Steel and plumbing in today. Missed two spa jets and bubblers on the tanning deck so that plumbing goes in tomorrow. Gunite shoot on Friday....moving fast.

Very nice! Now's when they start to tear up your yard when they do the rest of the plumbing.

Wanna swim? Huge rainstorm in Houston area on Friday left me with 3+ feet of water in the pool.

  • Chris

Yeah, we got a lot of rain too. On the positive note, it cut down on you watering the gunite!
Ours turned a 'lovely' color of the several weeks that the water sat in the bottom of the pool...

It's looking really good so far. It was really cool to see the gunite shell in place and get a feel for the pool. Be prepared for the devastation that is plumbing though!! They will tear up your yard!
