Hi,
We have had this lovely French limestone fountain for a year and have only been able to enjoy it in 2 day increments, as algae takes over almost immediately.

We cannot use any chlorine or harsh chemicals bc the basin is waterproofed. It was recommended that we use natural products so we have been using Aquascape, FIVE times the recommended dosage. Every 3rd day we have to remove the water (no drain), scrub, refill. Repeat. Repeat.

Have any of you used the following products with any success:

American Natural Products Co-Green Clean
Biocuda Eco-Solv9
Fountec

The first pic was taken on July 2nd and the next one on July 6th. I won't even post the one from today as it is pure green sludge.

We leave the fountain on during the day and appx for 14-16 hours and turn it off for the night. It stands in So. Cal sun, with lots of wind evaporation from the beach.

We are open to all suggestions, so help!!! :)
