Can I dye fading matrix in Pebble Sheen?

Due to misapplication of granular shock (allowed to settle on the pool bottom undissolved), our Pebble Sheen is now faded in a few specific areas. Only the matrix is affected, the pebbles are not. It looks bad (not like naturalistic variegations) and I would like to repair the color myself if possible. The texture and integrity of the finish are fine, so it would be a mistake to remove any of it just for cosmetic reasons. I'm just hoping that there is some way to dye or stain the matrix.

Afraid it is what it is now, AFAIK.
