congrats do you mind my asking how much you are paying? Do you think you got a better deal due to the ecomony? I started a new pool to on 7-7 and they are pouring plaster and filling with water today. It went really fast only thing left after today is the spray decking which will be on tues and I am done I got ozone also hope it was the right choice. Pleas post more pics as you go!!

Newpool,

I saw your post and things are looking good for you as well. We built a pool with the same builder about 4 years ago and pricing is more than then, but still in line with inflation. I am not sure we got a better deal due to the economy, maybe a little, but I think the pool is being built more timely because they are not as busy building pools. Our cost is right around 40K which is about where we wanted to be. We went with the Stonescape for look and longevity over plaster which added to our cost. We also decided to go a little wider once we saw the pool laid out in the yard, so that added to our cost as well.

They put the gunite in yesterday, so now it is really looking like a pool. They will be starting the stone and tile work tomorrow.

Some updated pictures as the pool progresses along. They started the stonework the other day for the coping and the raised beam where the 2' sheer will be. They stone workers have been doing a great job, it is amazing how much work goes into shaping and forming the rocks. The same guys have also started the tile work. The electrical group came out and installed the light, main control unit and ozone unit.

Looking great and coming right along! My pool is a similar size but BOY does yours look bigger! Great shape and placement of ledge, really maximizes pool size. Keep the pics coming, can't wait to see it full of water!

Hi! Our dig is scheduled for tomorrow and I was looking for pictures of Stonescapes Tahoe Blue. I picked the mini version of that but I'm getting cold feet because I haven't seen it in person and lots of people say that there's a green look to it. Do you have any pictures yet with your stonescapes? Would love to see how it looks.
