5 person at least. Try to wet test whichever model you buy. Also, I know the lounges look inviting and are comfy when you're looking at a dry tub but know that when it's full of water, you can't hold the recline position because your body floats.

The only people who use our hot tub are me, my hubs and our son. I'm kind of squicky about that, too. LOL Our waterfall is a waste of money. Never use it. They tried to talk us into a sound system, but no. We have the Hot Springs Grandee. It's big but we're tall so we needed a deep tub that would go up to our necks when seated. That's important. Make sure you'll be submerged up to your chin!

We bought ours without a wet test - didn't know that was possible - and it is true that I do float up a bit from the lounge seat, but that doesn't bother me.

Definitely get a 5 person at least. That's what we have, and it seems pretty ideal for my brother and me. On occasion, we have had sister and BIL in with us, and that was a bit crowded. When they say 5 person, 3 of those persons are small children.

We got the largest available one that operated on 120 volts, as they use less energy, and we didn't want to have to install a 240 volt outlet.

Thank so for the info! When we had our house built last year we had him put in the outlet for a hot tub. So, hopefully we don't have to worry about that. But, will mention it to my husband.
