When we got our pool last year I took a sample in after about a month and was told there was no calcium in it. And that it would pull the calcium from the granite. (not sure if I spelled that right) So, we added the recommend calcium.

So, yesterday I took a sample in and asked about the calcium because nothing else has ever been said about it. Well, the guy said he never tells anyone to add calcium. It just a waste of money. I told him what they told me the year before and he just shrugged his shoulders.

There is almost always someone new at the pool place where I take my sample so I don't know if they really know what they are talking about. Please, help!!
