We are putting speaker around our pool, but they are not wireless. We ran the wire in a small conduit (plastic pipe) underground where they ran the plumbing. So less digging for us. It took several hours to string the wire thru the pipe, some digging and making sure the wires and conduit were long enough. We set up 4 spots for speakers. We bought our own wire and supplies and for the benefits, it will be so worth it.
I don't know how the wireless speakers work and if there is much prep. So you definitely do need to run the wires before decking and right after they do the plumbing....and ask them to leave the trenches they dug open if that is where you want your wires to go. Otherwise you may need to do a bit of digging yourself.

My guys just got done yesterday running conduit all over the yard - for the mister, speakers, everything i would ever want. might not ever get to it but the conduit is there underground if we ever did. We did 3/4 inch pipe for the speakers - two in planters next to pool, two above on the shade structure -- using rock speakers by the pool in the landscaping, and two bose speakers up on the shade structure. My man also layed down some big inch and a half pipe to do an outdoor tv at some point up on the shade structure -- can't go wrong thinking what you would ever want back there and pipe for it now...

I had conduit run all over the place as well. I am installing two bose outdoor speakers tonight! Cant wait to see how they sounds!!

I have yet to see a wireless speaker that can even begin to compare to wired ones...IMHO.

coolpool---what type of Bose outdoor are you installing? The ones that go in the ground or hang on a wall?
We are doing both, just want to know what you think and how they sound.
