Quiet Single Speed Filter Pump?

Hi everyone...we currently have a Hayward 1.5 HP (not sure of model), and the bearings have gone bad. Prior to this, the pump was always a little too loud for our liking, so now that it's time to replace it I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. We have an inground pool with a sand filter, and for whatever reason my husband prefers to stick with a single speed pump. Any suggestions on what might be the quietest single speed pump? We're looking at the Pentair WhisperFlo. Thank you!

He really needs to consider the Pentair Superflow VS pump super quite and variable speed in the price range of the whisper flow . And it is the same profile as the Hayward pump you now have so it is super easy to swap out....

I agree with muddy water. The VS pump is very quiet and is a big money saver on energy since the variable speed can be adjusted to the need. Best on the market.
