I'm really miffed at Jandy. I had a split in my Jandy DEL 60 filter and so had to replace it. Of course they don't make the DEL anymore, it is now the DEV. So after forking out just over $700 I find that they have increased the size of the inlet and outlet couplers. So I thought I'd just take the ones off the DEL to find out that they have extended the external protrusion on the filter base so that the thread of the old filter will not go all the way through to mate with the internal PVC pipes. Does anyone know of a coupling kit that will allow the original connections from my Filter/Backwash valve (i.e. the original connections from my system to the DEL inlet and outlet connections) to connect to the new DEV coupling?
