I just had the coping around my pool replaced and there are 2-3" wide gaps between the coping and the concrete pool deck! I live in Michigan. What is the best way to fill these voids? backer rod & a self-leveling caulk or a mastic-type material? Please help!

3 inches? thats enough for a child foot to slip into. Was this bad workmanship? My pool has a 1/2 inch gap, and they used mastic.

Show us a pic please. That sounds like they used the wrong size coping. Scott
