Quartzscapes vs Diamond brite

Just met with PB#3. He likes quartz finishes and mentioned Quartzscapes. A plaster guy I spoke to did not like quartz finishes at all, said they were abrasive. This PB uses a different plaster guy and I have not talked to him but the PB said the quartz has a feel just like plaster. Who is right? Is it installer dependent? What do the folks that have quartz finishes think?
