Approximate cost of average size inground pool & hot tub?

I know there are a TON of factors involved...but what ballpark figure am I looking at to get an average size, regular shape inground pool with hot tub in one end? Land is very flat, ready to go. Not sure if salt water or chlorine is the way to go, either, but would definitely want it heated (upstate, NY).

Just wondering what we are talking about in terms of cost...

Any figure here would be meaningless.
Talk to pool companies and pool owners in your area.
Even that will result in a wide range of cost if you don't better define 'average'.

Best advice is sitting down and figuring out exactly what you want. Size, shape, features, finish, equipment and so on. Draw out what you want(pool shape) and then let several different pool builders bid it. Even hand them your requirements so they all bidding apples to apples. Even go as far as asking them to see pools being built by their company in different stages. So you can see quality of the work being done.
