We are having a Fastlane installed inside a niche in our pool. Our pool builder has never installed a Fastlane before, so they've been dragging their feet a bit at each step (although they initially told us they could install the fastlane in the niche no problem). We have the niche and supports built and the gunite has been blown. The pool builder has now told us that to have a stainless steel person manufacture a custom cover for the niche will cost us $1000. Is this a reasonable cost? We do want to cover the niche if possible. Any advice about how this has been done by others, cost, tips, etc. would be greatly appreciated! We're in Charlotte, NC.
