We have not yet checked with our builder (Shasta Pools) to see if our covers are effected by this recall. We think there's a fair chance they are since two of the manufacturers are from Arizona and that's where we are. Anyhow, here's what we're wondering: It says to contact the manufacturer for a replacement/retrofit. Would it then be up to us to arrange for (and pay for) the installation of the new covers? Like many homeowners, it's not something we're capable of handling ourselves. Since it's been determined to be a hazard and they need to get these covers out of the pools, should they help with the costs? Thoughts?
