Is this a gunite pool?

not sure what gunite is, but looks like sheet metal or aluminum/galvanized, looks like its 4 foot sheets all around the pools the fllor looks like its cement has a shallow end and a deep end. the pools is braced down behind it every 3 feet or so, just no bond beam, kidney shape pool, only bond beam is beside th skimmer the rest of the pool doesn't have any.

Its a vinyl pool....there is no bond beam only a footer around the braceing should be there at the bottom of the panels. He should be able to attach a new coping around the pool and reattach a new liner.

I would sorta be concerned the about the guy you have doing this one look and and he should have known this before he started....

he's says he can't do cantilever coping (cement) which is what I wanted I have to go with the standard, is this true.
Because he has to screw it into the wall, Why can't he do the same for the stiemier cantilever coping.

Most liner pool brands have the coping you need to replace to make this happen.

It can be done I have done it but for someone that has not you will get a mess. There is alot of braceing involved and if not done right the edge will look very uneven. A stone or brick edge would be something maybe he could do...
