 o
New liner coming soon.....should I change bulb/light fixture.

My pool is being measured for a new liner today. We've been in the house for 7 years, so know the bulb is at least that. Should I have the bulb changed now? Was told if moisture is in the fixture whole thing should be changed, which is fine. Am I right to change it now,,,,or do you suggest if working well leave it alone

I would leave it alone if it is working ...If they take it a part to replace the bulb more than likely the seal will have to be replaced at least as well So let it go for now...

Thanks. Do you know how long the light fixtures usually last? I'm assuming this one is 16 years old, thought it would be cost effective to replace now vs when water in our pool.

They last for years and years and can be replaced with water in the the pool with no problem...
