I wouldn't lose any sleep over a squeak at start up, when it continuously squeals while running it's time to address it.

No, it should not squeak or squeal. Address it now under warranty. If you are in the NE, bear in mind it's opening season for many of us techs so response is possibly slow. Doing it now before it becomes urgent makes it easier for all parties to schedule conveniently.

I have a Intelliflo VS & it just started to do that shutdown squeak. Let me know what you find is causing it. Thanks

You may have some debris in the diffuser or the diffuser o-ring has swollen and is binding the impeller. You can pull the motor and remove the diffuser and try turning on and off to see if the noise happens.
