| is it worth purchasing a small concrete pump unit (used) ?
I'm in construction (general) but enjoy tinkering around with pools. I think my regular crew of brick masons could finish the product easily enough. I understand I would need to take a course on shotcreting etc. curious what some of the experienced pb's think thanks |

| It is a skilled trade, just like any other skilled trade. Most of the guys start out as grunts, and then learn their way to the nozzelman position. For a nozzelman to get certified he has to have 500+ hours of experiance. Not that he has to be certified, but I think you get the point. Its not just shooting concrete at a wall. |

| I think it also may require a addiction to prescription pain killers. We have subbed our shotcrete work out for years. It's not something that I ever to desire to have to do myself. |
