Question about severe cracks in new pool plaster

Posted by Rjirish (My Page) on

I just had my pool re-plastered and less then a month later I'm seeing what I would say are huge cracks all around the pool. Something I never had seen since I bought the house over 15 years ago. I only re-plastered because the old surface was getting very rough. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Pool; plaster needs to cure underwater. Did they do that? For how long?

They filled the pool as soon as they were done with the plastering.

I'd call them back for some warranty work.
You could do a temporary repair with underwater epoxy (Marine-Tek, PC-11, among others) but they should do a finish job.
