Here is a photo of Sunstone Jade Quartz. The pool was re-plastered last week. Today is the second day after beginning chlorine.

I searched high and low on the Internet for photos of pools with this finish and did not find a single photo. I did find a nice thread here on Garden Web and so I will find that thread and add this photo to it also. Or maybe a different photo that has a pool brush in it also for color reference.

I wanted a deep turquoise color without using colored plaster. This SunStone has barely tinted plaster with turquoise and grey and black quartz added.

I really like the feel of the surface. It is smoother than any pebble finish and a feels a lot like sandstone, or the fine texture of my plastic computer keyboard tray. The pool is actually smoother than the samples in the box the builder delivered to me. Maybe that will change as more of the quartz is exposed over time. I expect that the pool will deepen in color as more black and grey are exposed.
