| We have had an inground liner pool for about 20 yrs, and just had the liner replaced for the 2nd time. When the installer was here, he noted a small pit, about 1/2" dia x 1/8" deep in a corner of a step in the shallow end, probably caused by algae, as it sometimes gathers in the step corners. He said he would repair it with epoxy, but now that the pool is filled, I noticed he didn't fix it. Since I'll have to drain the pool down 2' to this, I'm thinking of doing it myself sometime. I would assume these steps are fiberglass, any ideas as what to use ? |

| I wouldn't even worry about it unless it has an actual penetration and you are losing water. Most adhesives will just pop off since steps tend to flex a bit. Scott |

| I've used an underwater epoxy putty to fix some small cracks in my steps. I works well and it sets up underwater so you don't have to drain the pool at all. Just Google underwater epoxy putty. |
