Should my pool filter run 24/7 or less than that?
I just installed a new gunite pool in NJ.

RE: Pool Filter Question

When curing most plaster finishes, it's 24/7 for a month or so. Then about 1 to 1.25 turns of the pool's volume per day, during the day.

For all other pools, about 1 to 1.25 turns of the pool's volume per day, during the day.

During colder months, for those that don't winterize, about a 1/3rd of a turn is enough due to chlorine's departure is significantly reduced by the colder water. Less energy is available then. Not your issue Jeremy.
