crack in plaster

My pool is about two yrs old. The plaster has a large and long crack already running down the wall. The guy who cleans the pool pointed it out to me and says this should not be happening already. I have never liked the plaster. It is supposed to be "white" but it looks mottled and dirty. Are cracks normal in a pool this age? This is not a hairline crack. Thanks!

Pools should not crack. You need to find out if the pool leaks and then if the problem is structural. Generally, structural warranties are a minimum of 5 years. Good luck.

Thank you golfgeek. The pool contractor is looking into it. The plaster co. did a terrible job on the plaster, so I am hoping this is what it is due to.
