GT see if your screen person will install/ replace the screen with vinyl. It is a 3m product and normally comes with a 10 yr warranty if used for windows. It comes in tint or clear. We have clear for our windows in the Flamingo room and we have the tint in the Dolphin Bar and Grill room. Our screen person would not guarantee the area in the Dolphin Bar and grill however he says that it is a hit and miss depends how much wind you receive. He also says that it should last about 3 years. We have had ours for 1.5 years and absolutely love and would recommend it. We do have some very minor leaks however our objective was to be able to sit in our summer kitchen while it was raining. It really keeps us fairly dry. Of course we would get wet if the rain was blowing sideways. We plan on addding 4 more feet this year. Look at our summer kitchen install.
