Buying a house with a inground pool

We have never cared one way or another about a pool but the house/acreage we are looking at has one. Owner says they just replaced the liner. Now, first thought was that a pool would be great for our two labs who love to swim. (Our current property has a deep creek which they swim in daily). Now I realize that with a liner, the dogs might damage it coming in and out of the water. Also, how do the dogs get in and out - I don't see stairs in the pictures.

We have lots of grandchildren but they will not be close by and will only visit a couple of times a year.

This is probably a crazy inquiry but I know nothing at all about pools. Help please?

Dogs and vinyl liners doesn't seem like a good mix. If it was me, I would have some real tile added under the coping. I think they can do this now to make the vinyl pools look better.

Search for dog ladders at any online pool supply store.

listen to me..

you dont want the pool ...

the grandkids will visit once a year in good weather ..

WHY DO YOU WANT A POOL... focus!!!!

hours of maintenance... $$$$ of chemicals ... etc ...

either find a better property ... with a creek ...

or presuming this property is otherwise to die for ... then make an offer contingent on removal of the pool ... or reduce your offer accordingly ...

We never even considered a pool! But, it comes with a perfect house at an affordable price, 19 acres- mostly wooded and a huge pond.

We haven't sold our house yet anyway so this one will probably be long gone. (Maybe we could fill it with Koi and make a little money raising them. Ha.)
