We've had a spa for 8 or so years, but the little, detachable pillows that slide into place are looking ragged. I've found exact replacements on line, but they're too bloody expensive ($65 each) and I'm too bloody cheap....

The closed-cell foam substrate is solid, but the vinyl coating has peeled off. I've seen this "as seen on TV" spray waterproofing for gutters and roofs that looks like it might be a viable alternative and was wondering if anyone has tried that or another, similar product?
