| When PB closed my pool this year, he said it looked like my Jandy Multiport Valve was "going bad". What is "normal" life expectancy for these? Located in NJ so it's a 5 month season here. Picture of model is below. I can pick one up on the net for about $120. Install is just a couple of locking ring PVC connections and maybe some basic PVC plumbing correct? Or do I just go for replacement parts? Any info appreciated.

| If the handle spring is weak, I would swap it. If it's just kind of hard to turn, lube or replace the spider gasket. Scott |
