Are they going to finish the tile under the waterfall or will it just be plastered there?

RE: thanks for everyone's help

they are going to finish the tile under the water fall and then put a bull nose piece of flag in front of it to the bottom of the square rocks. The weather has been too cold to replace the tile that broke during waterfall construction. The tile guy should be back next week before pebble tec

Thanks for the link...I found you :) So glad you did the boulders because now I can see ours will blend just fine with the flagstone. We went with the cheaper aggregate decking. Goodness the flagstone decking is sooooo pretty. Wish our budget would have been able to do that!!! You got some really good colors in your flagstone. Good luck with the plaster. I know you're excited.

Thanks so much. We went with three different flag colors and mixed them in the deck alternating throughout. it gave the deck a lot of character. got some funny looks when we picked the stone but everyone loves it now.

We just put some junipers in our waterfall today and we fill firepits on each side with pea gravel and run the gas this week. hopefully all is running by Friday!

It looks great! Your approach as a buyer has had a lot to do with this successful project. The material selections are just one example of the well thought out process. The timing worked out nicely and soon you will enjoy the first of many summers that the family will always remember. Nice job!

Thanks Rod, you and the other Pb's on this site have been awesome. I worked on 50% of this project myself with a 5 man work crew so your advice was much needed since I could only point the finger at myself if things went wrong. so it has been a rewarding process and I was very lucky that my PB was great and very helpful even with the things I did on my own, especially the decking and the waterfall.
