Pool deck re-surface

Hello all, I am purchasing and re-modeling a property that includes a 16x32 pool (pictured). The deck is really sloppy though, concrete is severely weathered and has signifcant cracking. I am looking for cost effective options to cleaning up the deck and making it looking respectable for 3-5 years (hopefully by then I can afford a more signifcant make-over). I have read a little about pebble surfaces, paint etc. Property is in Connecticut, so cold winters and freezing & thawing.

RE: Pool deck re-surface

A buddy of mine just patched up his pool deck this past spring. His was in slightly better shape than yours, but not much.

He cleaned out the cracks and filled them in with a concrete patching compound, then used a concrete leveling compound afterwords. Worked out pretty well.

Good luck.
