Dressing up pool for nightime party

I am giving and outdoor party, at night. If you have ever been on a cruise think, "Hot Night White Party". The pool is in the center of this party space. If I put balloons in the pool do I blow them up and weigh them down with a small amount of water? Has anyone ever done the little water LED lights (singles) for a party (they last like 36 hrs)? Any ideas or thought or warnings on what I can do? This is a surprise B-day party for my husband who likes to party. Thanks Alyx

How about some dry ice in the pool? It makes a rolling fog coming off the pool

Oh I like that! Do you know how long it last, by chance. I'm going to look for places that provide dry ice. I guess one large chunkc so it will last longer -VS- smaller chunks Thanks!

Yes, chunks last longer.

Some super markets carry it. I know mine does.

There are actually some videos on You Tube. Someone actually did liquid nitrogen to and that WAS cool.
