Mottling with Grey Plaster - Need Advice

We recently had our pool replastered with medium gray plaster and added 3M colorquartz. Pool was filled on Wednesday April 2nd, acid washed Thursday April 3rd, and we're still seeing streaks and spider vein cracks as of the 6th. This is most apparent around the walls and steps, but exists throughout the entire pool.
We talked to our pool company, who said that the "cream" should go away in two weeks with everyday brushing. Is it true that this problem will resolve itself, or should I be concerned?
