Need to replace our leaky 1/2 HP garbage disposal. Just want to do something quickly and easily so we will buy from Home Depot/Lowes and use our military discount. We will be moving from this home in 2-5 years. Despite our "open concept kitchen" noise is not an issue for us since a disposal doesn't run continuously.

So any advantage to purchasing the Evolution Select over the Badger 5? Not certain that we need to spend the extra money.
