Hi all

I pulled a permit for a master bath remodel and plan on talking to the inspector but wanted to at least get something right in my head.

I am switching out a drop in deck whirlpool tub for a slightly larger model and framing it into an alcove. The faucets will move from the deck to the alcove wall. The trap is being moved about a foot. Each requires some minor moves of supply and traplines

My question is the rough plumbing inspection - is everything supposed to be framed in (not closed) -- valves installed, tub set in place - or should the floor be exposed to show the underfloor stuff - tough to do the framing without a solid floor - just did not know what was the norm
