The leak is probibly caused when the remote facuet closes and momentarly hits the tub with increased pressure. The laundry machine opens and closes several times during rinse/spin. Change the facuet seats before calling a plumber.

This is symptomatic of old corroded steel pipes.
The corrosion may not be apparent from the outside.
It can also be an indication that a well water recovery pump may be ready for an overhaul, or a clogged filter.

Sadly it's not just the washing machine that causes the issue,turning on water anywhere in the house causes the dripping,although the washing machine makes the water run rather than drip.

Will check out faucet seats ( not sure how to do that but will look it up)

The house is only 9 yrs old,so hoping the pipes aren't corroded,don't have a well,so no pump.

Ok, then work back to the main. If you are attaching a pressure gauge at the hose bib after the regulator, and seeing that much fluctuation, you probably have a failed regulator.
Normal recommended field testing is at 4yr intervals.
