Could be a defective component in the RO or or improper assembly at the factory or something you did wrong during the install.

A picture of where it is leaking would be a big help in advising you.

Picture attached to show where it is leaking from. Thanks for the response. i will be contacting the supplier when they re-open after the new year but for now I am trying to see if there is anything I can do. Anyone have experience with something like this?

OK,picture (I also saw on eBay) is too small to see the detail, but that looks like a 90 degree John Guest threaded fitting.

If it's leaking where the fitting screws into the housing:

Unscrew the fitting and examine closely for a crack in the threaded nipple part. Examine closely for a crack where the fitting screws into the housing. Use a magnifying glass if need be.

If everything looks OK then wrap a couple turns of teflon tape around the threaded nipple (CCW looking at the fitting from the tubing side not the threaded side) and HAND tighten the fitting into the housing.

If it's leaking where the tubing inserts into the fitting:

Take the PE tubing that inserts into that fitting and take a razor blade and make a clean 90 degree cut at the end of the tubing. Push tubing in till you feel it seat (bottom out).

If it still leaks then you damaged the o-ring inside the fitting when you first inserted the tubing and the fitting can be replaced.
