I don't understand halve the terms you are useing but here go's non-the-less.
Does your tub not have holes for a facuet? If so,why not use them instaed of reinventing the wheel? If there are unused holes through tub,how do you plan dealing with those?
Anyho,commercial laundry tub/mop sink facuets flow about equal to tub facuets. Kitchen facuets have micky mouse restrictors any installer can disable or show you how to disable,,,,unless you are in Kal-i-forn-ya ,in which case trying to run a hot bath pale's alongside other things going on there.

Not that you care but it is a free standing tub and there are no platforms (on the tub) to add a faucet - only a freestanding one but I like the idea of putting a shelf nearby and then got to thinking that I can feed that plumbing through the shelf (built out wall) and use a wall mounted faucet which is way, way cheaper than a freestanding faucet. Cheaper yet if I could use a kitchen/utility faucet. I was really concerned about water flow but you really helped me out informing me of restrictors. Thanks again!

Also, as a matter of aesthetics, either with or without the shelve an architectural element can be created by the use of brass or chrome plated piping or sleeves, which can be found or ordered from regular plumbing suppliers, OTHER than any big-box.
