Is Rheem still good for gas water tank?

I have a second floor renovation and looking to purchase 50 gal hi efficiency gas water tank with power vent. My contractor recommended the Richmond 5GR50PVE-42 which is made by Rheem and currently on sale locally. I read consumers advice about hot water heaters and they say the longer the warranty the likelihood of thicker insulation and a better made unit. This only has a 6 yr warranty and not sure many offer much more from what I have seen online.

Recommendations and opinions appreciated.
(sorry, I originally posted in the wrong forum..)
