Utility Sink Replacement

Hi All,

Currently have a utility sink installed that just has two wall connected spigots above it (no regular faucet). Am looking to replace w/a nicer sink w/a faucet. Question is, what is the easiest way to go from the spigots (same type / size as you would use for a washer/dryer) to the connections of a faucet.

Or, should I get a plumber to convert to normal connections for a faucet?

Wall mounted utility faucets often use an 8" spacing between the hot and cold connections. If you had the plumber replace the existing valves with threaded fittings you could use a faucet like the American Standard
7295.252 Heritage Wall Mount.
