Water pressure comes and goes and comes

Recently my water pressure shuts completely when I turn on two things at the same time, example if I am taking a shower and then try to turn on a faucet or washing machine the water stops .After I turn them off and wait a few seconds the water pressure returns. I have a well and a plumber has already replaced the high low switch and the same thing,he thinks it's the pump. Any advice would be helpful. Ps I have also have a water softener

I would be looking at any devices that regulate line pressure (not nessarly tank pressure) and any device that diverts route of water. Adjusting or bi-passing suspected device to confirm.
A pressure guage tempirarly attached to facuets starting at well house then moving progressivly downstream might help locate point of flow interferance.

First thing to do is bypass the softener and see if that solves the problem. If your softener installation was done properly there should be a bypass valve right at the softener.
