| I am about to have granite installed in my kitchen and was wondering about the hole that must be drilled out. Is there a 'standard' size? I wonder because obviously I'm pretty much stuck with whatever is drilled out, so is there a usual size that will accommodate most all single stem faucets?
I have provided a link to the installation instructions for the faucet I have on order which indicates a 1 1/4" hole |
Here is a link that might be useful: Hansgrohe Allegro E

| 1 1/4" is pretty much standard. Just installed 3 fixtures, all Kohler, all 1 1/4" except bath faucet which was a "reamed" 1 1/2" |

| Good to know....thanks for the reply. So much to think about with granite. |

| Visit your local hdw. store and measure the 1-3/8" preformed holes in the castings. |
