replacing jets on old "jacuzzi" type tubs

How difficult is it to find parts and replace old, tarnished jets in the older "jacuzzi" style tubs (circa 1990, for example)?

I am occasionally asked if I can replace them, change the color, etc, but I tend to want nothing to do with them since I don't want to "own" a larger problem. Thoughts? Thanks much.

I have a hard time NOT finding parts. Google, eBay, etc. has never let me down.

I don't think a new part in an old device ensures that it would become a "problem." As long as the replacement part isn't from overseas, I don't think there should be an issue, IMO.

If you really can't find the parts, and you can find almost ANYTHING online, you might be able to get them restored/sandblasted/refinished, but it wouldn't be cheap.

Even if it's chrome/plastic, that can be done - and replated.
