Can you drill extra holes into a one-hole sink?

I am considering buying a Noken (Porcelanosa) sink that is drilled for one hole. I already have a 3-hole widespread lav set that I would like to use. The salesperson said that my builder can drill the other two holes. Is it that simple, or is it likely the the sink will be damaged? It is a 33x15 sink that would sit on a vanity. I like it because then I don't need to buy any stone.
Thanks!

What is the sink made of?

Does the faucet have a trim plate that covers the holes?

You can get through just about anything with the correct bits.

Hole saws are even available with diamond if needed, but carbide does just about everything short of hard stone.
