we just moved into our new home and it appears to have liquid drywall for water. What is the best way to get the water tested to find out what system I need to acquire to condition it? We are located in middle tn.

Go to your county health department and ask them what there procedure is for testing residential water. In most jurisdictions they will give you a sterialized sample container and ask you to return a sample. The will charge you a very modest fee and once you get the results they will advise you as to what you need to do.
