Wall ventilation fan in Cold weather?

I am trying to install a vent in my half bathroom. Living in cold weather area, would you recommend installing a Wall mounted ventilation fan? If so, which is a good one which will also prevent cold air entering the bathroom in winter time. Any advise welcome.

If the joists run in the right direction, you might be able to hang a blower on the outside with the grill in the ceiling.
