| I was replacing the water heater elements and had drained the tank completely, the power was off to heater. When I removed the bottom element water came rushing out! It wasn't too much water, I had been draining the tank for hours....left and came back to finish the job.
My question is how safe is it to turn the power back on to the water heater after this. Some splashing occured to the wires and thermostat. I dried everything as much as I could including connections and wires. Any help would be Greatly appreciated. |

| Dry the visible water with a hair dryer. It will be OK. |
